As Citi Markets and Securities Services’ Global Head of Retail, Eduardo Martinez Campos is responsible for the distribution of capital markets products and solutions to retail financial intermediaries. This segment includes the retail and institutional wealth management segments globally, as well as Citi’s Private and Consumer Banks.
With presence in all major global financial centers, the retail capital markets solutions team serves private banks, retail banks, broker dealers, wire-houses, independent financial advisors (RIAs, IFAs), retail discretionary asset managers and other retail financial intermediaries. These partners in turn serve mass affluent to ultra-high-net-worth individuals and family offices.
Eduardo’s team focuses on the development and distribution of all capital markets products: equities, rates, foreign exchange, fixed income, commodities and securitized products in developed and emerging markets. The range of services include flow products, delivered mainly through electronic channels, as well as structured investments in the form of market-linked deposits, structured notes, funds and special purpose vehicles. A key area of focus is also the delivery of index, systematic and bespoke investment strategies that address a broad array investment needs and objectives.
In addition to formulating and executing Citi’s capital markets retail distribution strategy, Eduardo is also responsible for the overall development of the retail product infrastructure and platform; as well as the delivery of relevant research and product content to retail financial intermediaries.
Before assuming his current role, Eduardo served as Global Head of Investments for Citi Private Bank since 2012. Prior to this, he held numerous roles in sales and trading in Citi’s Markets and Securities Services businesses, including Global Co-Head of Emerging Markets Credit Derivatives, Global Head of Emerging Markets Sales and Head of LatAm Investor Sales.
